1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tough Coach ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Tough Coach is an AI-powered accountability and goal-tracking application. The App provides:

• Goal creation and tracking
• AI-powered coaching and motivation messages
• Progress monitoring and notifications
• Subscription-based premium features

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Terms

Free Tier:

• 1 goal limit
• 10 messages per day

Pro Tier ($9.99/month or $79.99/year):

• Unlimited goals
• Unlimited messages
• Priority AI responses
• Early access to new features

5. Billing & Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can cancel anytime through your Google Play or App Store account settings
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• Access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Share your account with others
• Abuse or harass other users or our support team

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Tough Coach and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tough Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Privacy Policy

Account Information:

Goal & Activity Data:

• Goals you create
• Messages you send to the AI coach
• AI coach responses
• Progress and activity logs
• Notification preferences

Subscription Data:

• Subscription tier (Free or Pro)
• Subscription status and expiration
• Purchase history (managed by Google Play/App Store)

Technical Data:

• Device information (OS, model)
• App usage analytics
• Crash reports and error logs

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide Service: To operate the App and deliver AI coaching
• Personalization: To customize your experience and recommendations
• Communication: To send notifications, updates, and support messages
• Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve features
• Billing: To manage subscriptions and payments

We use the following third-party services that may collect data:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, hosting, and analytics
• OpenAI: AI message processing (your messages are sent to OpenAI's API)
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Google Play / App Store: Payment processing

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure password hashing
• Firestore security rules
• Regular security audits

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active
• After account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days
• Some anonymized analytics may be retained for service improvement

7. Children's Privacy

Tough Coach is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Account & Data Deletion

Method 1: Email Request (Recommended)

1. Send an email to support@magency.co
2. Use the subject line: "Delete My Account"
3. Include your account email address in the message
4. Confirm that you want all data permanently deleted

Method 2: In-App Deletion (Coming Soon)

We are working on adding an in-app account deletion feature in Settings. This will allow you to delete your account directly from the app without contacting support.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete:

• ✅ Your account credentials and profile information
• ✅ All goals you created
• ✅ All messages and conversation history
• ✅ Progress logs and activity data
• ✅ Notification preferences
• ✅ Subscription information (local copy)

Important Notes

• Processing Time: Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
• Irreversible: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered
• Active Subscriptions: Cancel your subscription through Google Play/App Store before requesting deletion to avoid future charges
• Anonymized Data: Some anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement (contains no personal information)

Cancel Subscription (Keep Account)

If you want to keep your account but cancel your Pro subscription:

• Google Play: Play Store → Account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tough Coach → Cancel
• App Store: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Tough Coach → Cancel Subscription

Your account will remain active, and you'll revert to the Free tier after the current billing period ends.
